Italian seasoning; 1 garlic clove; 1 large can tomato paste; 1 regular can tomato sauce; 1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes; 1/4 c. mushrooms; 3 c. cottage cheese (small curd); 2 eggs, beaten; 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese; 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese; 1 pkg. lasagna noodles

1 lb. hot Italian sausage
2 lb. ground beef
salt and pepper
1 Tbsp. Wesson oil
2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 garlic clove
1 large can tomato paste
1 regular can tomato sauce
1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes
1/4 c. mushrooms
3 c. cottage cheese (small curd)
2 eggs, beaten
3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
1 pkg. lasagna noodles

Brown meat slowly in oil; drain.

Add next 8 ingredients. Simmer uncovered about one hour, stirring occasionally.

Cook, drain and rinse noodles.

Combine cottage cheese, eggs, salt and pepper.

Place 1/2 noodles in 9 x 13 pan, spread 1/2 cottage cheese, 1/2 mozzarella cheese, sliced thin, and 1/2 meat mixture. Repeat layers.

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake at 350 - 375 degrees about 30 minutes.

Let stand 10 - 15 minutes before cutting.
