1/4 stick butter
1/3 c. olive oil
4 cloves garlic, diced
2 anchovies, diced
2 large cans whole tomatoes
1 can Hunt's tomato sauce
basil
2 Tbsp. sweet pepper flakes
sugar
salt and pepper

Saute onion in butter and olive oil.

Add garlic and anchovies; saute 10 minutes.

Add tomatoes (2 large cans), tomato sauce, basil, 2 tablespoons sweet pepper flakes (or fresh pepper), sugar, salt and pepper.

You may need very little salt because the anchovies give it a little salt.
