   cook beef and onions together until all beef is done; drain beef and onions; using large cooking pan pour in chili beans, tomato sauce, cut up tomatoes and add them, pour in beef and onions; stir together, add tomato juice and stir all together; slowly add chili powder stiring while pouring in chili powder; sample for taste; when taste meets your palate cook on high until boiling; turn to low or 1 and cook at least 1 1/2 hours to get flavor and good cookdown; serve hot.
