Italian Roast Beef – a delicious recipe with boneless roast, basil, allspice, nutmeg, bay leaves, fennel. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

Servings: persons

4 to 5 lb. boneless roast
1/2 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. fennel
salt and pepper
2 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper roast; brown under broiler in roaster pan. After well browned, add water mixed with bouillon cubes.

Combine all other ingredients and put on roast (350u00b0).

Bake, covered, for 30 minutes per pound.

Remove; let cool slightly before slicing very thin.

Return to au jus sauce in roaster.
