1 1/2 c. chopped onion

1/3 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano leaves
1 tsp. sugar

5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
