Irma Brown'S White Fruitcake

   Cream butter well. Add sugar and cream until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

   Chop fruits and nuts and mix with a small amount of flour.

   Sift remaining flour and stir into creamed mixture with salt. Add flavorings.

   Bake in tube pan or two loaf pans.

   Put in a cold oven and bake at 250u00b0 for 3 hours.

   This recipe will make a 5 pound cake.
