   Dissolve yeast, water and sugar; set aside.

   Mix together hot water and milk.

   Combine milk, water, shortening, salt and sugar. Add 4 cups flour.

   Beat until smooth.

   Add yeast.

   Mix well and let rise for 45 minutes.

   Add 2 more cups of flour; mix well.

   Put remaining 1 cup of flour on breadboard and knead until all gone. Grease a large bowl.

   Put the dough into the bowl and turn to grease dough.

    Let rise 20 minutes.

    Punch down.
