Ice Cream In A Coffee Can

   Little did I know when I married into the Kimbrel family what I was getting into.

   Having married in Wichita, many of the Klan could not attend so Pat and I graciously took our wedding cake to share with them in Coffeyville.

   Dorothy, Mel and Darrel sent Pat and I on a phony trip to town.

   When we returned, we discovered, upon beginning to cut the symbolic cake, that those onery people had already eaten out the middle of the cake.

   It was then that I learned what to expect from my new family.
