How to Use Ziploc Bags with a Foodsaver

   Place the food in the bag and trim off the zipper with some scissors.

   Cut the zipper into 2 pieces and place 1 off the zippers vertically in the middle of the bag.

   Trim the zipper to just above the bag.

   Now, just use your foodsaver as you normally would and viola, a vacuum sealed bag on the cheap.

   TIP: Depending on the thickness of the plastic bag, you may have to run the cycle 2 or 3 times to get a proper seal.

   With the thin sandwich bag that I used, I only had to run it once.
