How to Use Dried Mushrooms

   Place whole mushrooms in a bowl, please don't overcrowd them

   Pour some lukewarm water over them and let them hydrate for about 8 hours or until they plumped up and soften all the way through

   If you don't have 8 hours, you could place dried mushrooms in hot water to soak but that will take a lot of flavour away although it takes less time for them to soften

   HOW TO USE REHYDRATED MUSHROOMS: throw soaking water away and rinse rehydrated mushrooms then use them as you would use fresh mushrooms.

   If you'd like to rehydrate sliced or small mushrooms, soaking time drops significantly.
