3 sweet red peppers
2 qt. cucumbers
2 qt. green tomatoes
2 qt. onions
1/2 c. sugar
salt
1 1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spices

Peel, slice and core carrots, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and onion.

Grind these up.

Sprinkle with salt.

Let stand overnight. Drain.

Combine these ingredients with vinegar.

Tie cayenne pepper and spices in cheesecloth.

Pour into hot, clean jars after it has been brought to a boil.
