1/2 peck green tomatoes

4 bell peppers
4 red peppers
1/2 c. salt
1 qt. vinegar
1 pt. vinegar
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. mustard seed

Put the first 5 ingredients through food chopper and add salt. Let stand overnight; drain.

Then add the vinegar, sugar, turmeric, celery seed and mustard seed.

Cook slowly for 1 hour.
