Size) Crushed Tomatoes; 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar; 1 cup Low Sodium Chicken Or Vegetable Broth

1 Onion, Chopped
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
3 cloves Garlic, Minced
1/2 Tablespoons Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1- 1/4 teaspoon Dried Basil
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1/4 teaspoons Dried Fennel Seeds
1/2 teaspoons Dried Thyme
1/2 teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
2 cans (28 Oz. Size) Crushed Tomatoes
1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
1 cup Low Sodium Chicken Or Vegetable Broth

In a large saucepan over medium heat, saute onions until softened in a small amount of olive oil.

Add garlic and saute 1 minute.

Add in sugar, salt, basil, oregano, fennel (crush lightly with your hands before putting it in), thyme and pepper.

Saute 2 minutes.

Add tomatoes, vinegar, and chicken broth.

Stir well.

Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for one hour.

Serve immediately or divide it into several plastic freezer bags to freeze for future use.
