Homemade Chocolate Truffles

   Start by breaking the chocolate into small pieces and set aside. Then, in a saucepan, pour heavy cream and butter and set on medium heat, stirring constantly. When it's about to boil, pour the cream mixture over the chocolate. Add rum and wait 1 or 2 minutes. Using a spatula, stir the chocolate until it completely melts. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 3 hours.

   After 3 hours, using an ice cream scoop and your hands, make small balls and decorate as you wish. I used powdered cocoa, sprinkles and chocolate.
