Sieve the flour and salt; put the butter over and knead very well. Put water over the mixture 1 tablespoon after the other and knead until you have a playable dough. Leave the dough to rest for half an hour. Make 12 equal pieces of the dough. Roll each piece to 13 x 9-inch. Grease 13 x 9-inch glass pan with butter. Put 6 rolling pieces over the other, spreading butter between each piece before putting the other piece over. Spread the top of the sixth piece with butter, then spread the filling over and put the other 6 pieces, repeating the same procedure. Spread the top with butter; cut the baklava into triangles, then bake in 300u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the top becomes red in colour. Take the Baklava out, spread with generous amount of sugar syrup and serve.
