2 Tbsp. boiling water

2 1/2 bars Hershey milk chocolate
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar; add unbeaten eggs one at a time.

Mix well.

Add soda to hot water and pour over dates; add to creamed mixture.

Add chocolate bars, broken into small pieces.

Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
