   Combine milk, butter and sugar. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water, add yeast mixture, egg yolk, lemon rind and salt to milk mixture. Add 4 c. flour and beat until satiny. Cover

   and let rise until full of bubbles. Continue to add flour mixture until a stiff batter is formed. Knead lightly until smoothe. Place in greased bowl and let rise until very light. Bake 20 minutes at 375u00b0. Yields 20 to 24 servings.
