Hearty Hamburger Soup

   Melt butter in large skillet or kettle and brown meat and onion.

   Stir in next 7 ingredients; cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, approximately 20 to 25 minutes.

   Combine flour and milk.

   Stir into soup and boil.

   Add remaining flour and heat, stirring frequently.

   Heat, but don't allow to boil.
