Preheat the oven to 400u00b0F. Sift the flour into a bowl with the baking powder, then add the sugar, butter and egg and mix well to form a dough. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 30 mins. Next, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. To create the cookies you will need two different sizes of heart-shaped cookie cutters: 3 1/2 inch and 1 1/2 inch in diameter. Cut out the large hearts with the bigger cutter, then, with the smaller cutter press down lightly in the center of each cookie. Bake the cookies in the oven for 8-10 mins. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.

Using a heat-proof bowl over a pan of hot water, melt the dark chocolate with half the coconut oil. In a separate bowl over hot water, melt the white chocolate with the rest of the coconut oil. Coat the cookies with one half white chocolate and one half dark, keeping some chocolate warm for decoration. Alternatively, coat the middle heart with white chocolate, and the outside of the cookie with dark chocolate. Allow the chocolate on the cookies to set, then spoon the rest of the chocolate into two separate piping bags and decorate the cookies.
