Hamburger Pie

   Combine the first 5 ingredients and simmer 5 minutes. Cook the hamburger until brown. Drain off fat.

   Add 3/4 cup of the tomato sauce to the meat. Flatten out crescent rolls and press two together to form square (4 squares).

   Place approximately 1/4 hamburger mixture on each rectangle.

   Top with 1/2 slice American cheese. Bring up corners of dough to meet and pinch together to seal all openings.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 25 minutes. Add 1/3 cup water and any remaining hamburger mixture to tomato sauce and simmer gently while pies are baking. Sauce can be spooned over pies at the table.
