Ham Bone Soup Recipe

   Boil ham in water with pepper and onions.

   If ham has been previously cooked, 2 hrs will be sufficient; if not, 3 hrs.

   Don't add in salt till later, as the ham is so salty.

   More may not be necessary.

   Add in potatoes and cabbage and tomatoes and simmer 1 hour longer.

   Skim off excess fat before serving.
