Halushkie Russian Noodles And Cabbage

   Grate cabbage and onion fine.

   Melt butter in pan, adding grated cabbage and onion, salt and pepper.

   Saute until onion and cabbage are soft and brown.

   Boil noodles until tender; drain.

   Add cabbage and onion mixture.

   Cube 1 stick butter over mixture.

   Mix well.

   Serve hot with side dish of cottage cheese.

   This is even better the next day.
