2 c. flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 c. gumdrops, cut in sm. pcs
1 c. white sugar
2 lg. Large eggs
2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 c. oatmeal, quick cooking
1 c. shredded coconut

Cream shortening with sugars.

Add in Large eggs and beat well.

Add in sifted flour with soda, baking pwdr and salt.

Stir in gumdrops.

(Don't use black ones.)

Add in oatmeal and coconut.

Drop by tsp.

on greased cookie sheet.

Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees till lightly browned.
