Great Grandmother Hiedts' Gingerbread Men Recipe

   In large mixing bowl cream together sugar and butter.

   Add in molasses.

   In a separate bowl mix soda and lowfat milk.

   (Add in 2 tsp.

   vinegar or possibly lemon juice to lowfat milk to sour it.)

   Add in to creamed mix.

   Stir in dry ingredients.

   Refrigeratethoroughly.

   Roll out on floured surface and cut out.

    Bake 8 min at 425 degrees.

    Cold, frost and decorate.

    You can also roll into 1 inch balls and flatten with a glass if you do not want to cut them out.

    Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 8 min.
