   Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.

   Transfer to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

   Let simmer for 5 minutes and remove from heat.

   Let cool to room temperature and taste for seasoning adjustments, adding more sugar, salt or Tabasco, as needed.

   Serve with tortilla chips, taco salad, veggie chips, or whatever!
