Grandma's Yummy Sugar Cookies Recipe

   baking pwdr instead of tartar and soda.

   Blend sugar and shortening well.

   Stir in beaten Large eggs and vanilla.

   Add in flour, salt, cream of tartar and baking soda, mixing well.

   Refrigeratetill easy to handle.

   Turn out onto board dusted with confectioners' sugar.

   Roll to 1/8 inch thickness.

   use favorite cookie cutters and bake on greased cookie sheet 10-12 min at 375 degrees.

    Cookies spread in oven so place 2 inches apart.

    May sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar before baking if you like.
