   Beat egg whites and salt until stiff.

   Fold in sugar, nuts and vanilla.

   Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.

   Put in a 450u00b0 oven (if using electric, turn off); leave in until oven is cool or overnight.

   Or you can bake in a 250u00b0 oven (real slow) for 35 minutes.
