Golden West Sandwich

   Butter bread, removing crusts.

   Place on this a thin slice of cheese the same size as the bread, then a slice of cold boiled ham.

   Add a second slice of cheese, then a second slice of bread prepared the same as the first slice.

   Beat egg and milk.

   Slip sandwich into this batter.

   Cut into triangles.

   Serve on hot plate and garnish with a slice of tomato and pickle.
