Golden Banana Bread*

   Sift together 3 cups flour, baking powder and salt.

   Cream shortening and sugar, add egg; beat well.

   Beat in bananas and milk.

   Gradually add dry ingredients; mix just until moistened. Combine nuts and 1 tablespoon flour.

   Stir into batter.

   Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until tests done.
