German Potato Salad

   Quarter each potato and place in a pot of boiling water.

   Cook 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender when pierced.

   Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

   Add onion and saute for at least 5 minutes.

   Stir in vinegar, garlic, sugar and Dijon mustard and cook on low for 1 minute.

   Place potatoes and bacon in a large bowl.

    Pour the liquid mixture over the potatoes and stir until well coated.
