Galactobourico – a delicious recipe with Farina, sugar, milk, sugar, water, eggs. Easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

Make filling: On low flame, cook farina sugar and milk until thick. Then cover and cool.

Next make syrup by combining sugar and water. Bring to and boil for 20 minutes.

Melt butter with oil and oil bottom of pan.

Once filling is cooled, beat in eggs.

Lay phyllo 2 sheets at a time sprinkling with oil mixture in between. Leave some overlap all around the pan. Use about 6-8 phyllos.

Pour farina into pan and cover with phyllos ( 6-8) the same as before using oil in between.

Take bottom overlap and close it all around. Use rest of oil mixture especially on the corners.

Bake 350F until brown ~1hr

Pour cold syrup over hot cake. Leave for 24 hrs then cut when ready to eat
