Fudge Icing

   Melt the shortening and chocolate over hot water or in microwave.

   Add the rest of the ingredients, stirring constantly, bring rapidly to a full boil.

   Boil to 220u00b0 or exactly one minute. Cool in a pan of ice water until lukewarm.

   Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and beat until icing begins to lose its gloss and is a consistency to spread.
