3. In the bowl of a mixer, cream butter and sugars until creamy. Add in vanilla, then eggs, one at a time.

4. Slowly mix flour mixture into wet ingredients, until all ingredients are incorporated.

5. Stir chocolate chips and crushed crackers (you don't want crumbs, rather nice chunks of cracker) into the cookie dough until just combined.

6. For jumbo cookies, press about 2 tablespoons of dough into each muffin top slot, then bake for 12-15 minutes. For regular cookies, scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet, then bake for 10-12 minutes.
