1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract (I always use a little extra)
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
1 recipe Butter frosting (to follow)

In a medium saucepan combine sugar, butter, and water.

Cook and stir over medium heat just until mixture boils.

BUTTER FROSTING: In a small bowl beat 3 tablespoons butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
