1
Place griddle on stove and heat to medium.
2
Make an egg wash by adding the egg, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla to a shallow bowl and whisking or forking it to combine.
3
Then, you basically make a cream cheese and banana sandwich by spreading one side of the bread with cream cheese, adding slices of banana (you could also use any kind of jam, but I kid myself that Im making my little girls a semi-healthy lunch since it has banana in it) and smash the two pieces of bread together, pretty firmly.
4
Squash it pretty good is what Im saying.
5
Then dunk it in the egg wash, flip it and get both sides coated well.
6
Add some butter or nonstick spray to the pan and cook the sandwich for about three minutes per side.
7
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and drizzle with a little maple syrup or even honey if you want to.
8
Cut in half and share with someone!
