Freezer Cheese Balls (Carol/Debi)

   Let cheeses and butter stand at room temperature until soft. Shred cheddar and put it in the large bowl of an electric mixer. Add cream cheese, blue cheese, and butter; beat until blended. Add garlic and beat until creamy.

   Cover and chill cheese mixture for approximately 3 hours or until firm enough to shape into balls. Divide in half and shape each half into a smooth ball. Wrap airtight in saran wrap and place in plastic bag. Refrigerate or freeze until needed.

   Allow cheeseballs to stand at room temp for 3 or 4 hours. Unwrap before serving. Sprinkle nuts on waxed paper and roll each ball to coat with nutes -- pressing in lightly. Serve with crackers.
