Forfar Bridies(Scottish Meat Pies)

   Place butter in a skillet to melt.

   Add ground beef and onion. Brown until done.

   Add seasoning and water to make gravy by adding a little flour or a white sauce with cornstarch.

   Make pastry shells and cut into oval shape.

   Cover with the meat mixture.

   Wet edges of pastry and fold over to make an envelope and crimp edges of pastry with fingers.

   Make a slit in top of each bridie.

   Bake at 400u00b0 for about 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
