Finnish Spoon Cookies

   Melt butter or margarine in a skillet over medium to medium-high heat until it is golden brown.

   Set aside to cool.

   Add sugar and vanilla to the cooled butter.

   Mix flour and soda; add to the butter mixture.

   Shape with a teaspoon and place upside-down on a cookie sheet.

   Slide out with a fingertip.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 15 minutes until light brown.

   Do not overbake.
