1 pound fettuccine pasta
6 quarts water
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese grated
1 clove garlic finely minced
1/4 tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
parsley chopped
