Feather Light Angel Food Cake with Egg White Frosting

   Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius

   Sift flour and cornflour twice onto a sheet of greese proof paper

   add caster sugar and sift again

   Beat egg whites in a large bowl

   Add cream of tartar and beat until combined

   Add sugar gradually beating until it has disolved

   Add vanilla essence

   Using a metal spoon fold in flour 3 batches

   Spoon into a 23 cm angel cake tin

    Let it cool down and run a knife along it to loosen it

    Combine sugar and water in a pan/pot

    Stir over a low heat until mixture boils

    Let simmer for 5 minutes

    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form

15. 15

    Pour hot syrup over egg whites
