4 c. drained maraschino cherries
1/2 c. dark rum

Grease large loaf pans.

Line with foil and grease again. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large mixing bowl, adding fruit and pecans.

Beat eggs and rum.

Pour into loaf pans.

Bake in 300u00b0 oven for 1 3/4 hours. Cool in loaf pan 15 minutes.
