Eggs Baked In Onions

   Cut the top off of each onion and set aside. Remove the middle core of the onion, leaving an outer shell of at least two or three layers with the outer skin.

   Crack one or two eggs into each onion shell and top with your choice of topping.

   Replace the top of the onion to seal contents. Place on a campfire grill, a barbecue or in a hot oven and cook until eggs are done to your liking, approximately 5 to 15 minutes.

   When eating, use the onion as your bowl and scoop out the egg and as much of the contents and sides of the onion as possible.
