1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F/180 degrees C.

2. Grease a cake mould.

3. Mix butter and powdered sugar in a bowl with a whisk for 10 minutes till it becomes creamy and fluffy. Set aside.

3. Sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda 2 times.

4. Add the butter and sugar mixture to the sifted flour mixture. Add milk, yogurt and vanilla essence. Fold it in but don't over stir. Add chopped walnuts.

5. Put batter into greased cake mould and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Put a knife in the middle of it - if it comes out clean it means it's ready. Let brownies cool in the pan. Cut into squares when cooled completely.

Serve hot, with ice cream if desired.
