Easy Homemade Rolls

   Put the shortening into a large bowl and pour the boiling water over the shortening.

   To this, add sugar and salt; mix and cool to 105u00b0 to 115u00b0.

   Mix yeast with 1/2 cup water (105u00b0 to 115u00b0) and 1 teaspoon sugar.

   Mix and let bubble.

   Let set 5 minutes.

   Add eggs to cooled shortening mixture, then add yeast mixture and flour last.

   Mix well on mixer or by hand.

   Cover and set in refrigerator 1 1/2 to 2 hours or up to 1 week.

   Take out and shape in favorite rolls.

    Spread with melted butter.

    Let rise until double in size. Bake at 425u00b0 for 12 minutes.

    Do not overbake.
