2 sticks margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 well beaten eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda

Put first 3 ingredients into boiler on top of stove and allow to come to a full boil (stirring all the time).

Remove from stove.

Sift sugar, flour and salt.

Put the flour mixture and vanilla into chocolate mixture, stirring.

Add eggs.

Add buttermilk with soda, mixed.

Beat all in mixer.

Grease and flour two long pans (9 x 13 x 2-inch) and bake at 400u00b0 for 15 minutes.
