1 1/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
4 tbsp. softened butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. applesauce
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp. sugar mixed with 1/2 teaspoon grnd cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In small bowl combine flour, baking pwdr, salt and pumpkin pie spice till blended.

In medium bowl beat butter and sugar till creamy.

Beat in egg, applesauce and vanilla.

Stir into flour mix.

Spoon batter into 12 muffin tins lined with papers.

Sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon mix.

Bake for 12 min or possibly till wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
