Easier Caramel Brownies

   Mix brownie mix according to package (the oil, egg and water was what mine called for) adding nuts.

   spread half into a greased 9x9 square pan.

   bake at 325 for 20 minutes.

   meanwhile, melt caramels over med-low heat with evaporated milk until smooth.

   pour over partially baked brownie, spread remaining batter over it and bake 30 more minutes or until done.

   cool 30 minutes and refrigerate 1 hour.

   serve at room temp.

   great with ice cream!
