   In a large skillet over medium heat, fry the bacon.

   Drain on a paper towel, let cool, then crumble and set aside.

   Add the ground beef to the bacon fat in the pan and brown meat.

   Drain and transfer to a large bowl.

   Add the remaining ingredients, including the reserved bacon and mix well.

   Transfer to a large baking pan and bake at 350F until bubbling (about 1 hour).
