2 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup halved dried sour or Bing cherries or chopped pitted prunes
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Butter and flour 13x8 1/2-inch glass baking dish.

Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate in heavy large saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.

Remove from heat.

Add extracts, then flour and cinnamon and stir until just blended.

Spread batter in prepared pan.
