1 clove garlic
1 Tbsp. oil
1 large can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste (small)
4 cans water
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. granulated sugar
garlic powder
black pepper
basil leaves

Brown 1 clove of garlic in a tablespoon of oil.

Remove from flame and cool slightly.

Add 1 large can of tomato sauce or puree,

one can tomato paste and 4 cans water.

Add 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons granulated sugar, garlic powder (2 shakes), sprinkle of black pepper and 1 or 2 basil leaves.

Bring to a boil; lower flame and simmer for 2 hours.
